June was full on! I kicked off the month in Paris celebrating my anniversary which is always brilliant. I saw the Paris Noir exhibition in Paris, and discovered and fell in love with the work of Beauford Delaney, an unbelievably talented Black American modernist painter.
The tennis season kicked off in London, and I made it to Queen’s Club, which was such a lovely experience, and women were playing again for the first time in 50 years. Now that I’m playing tennis regularly, it was great to watch how the pros do it.

It was a big month for live music, and I got to see Beyonce in all her glory, as well as Carlos Santana, who I have wanted to see live for over 20 years. He did not disappoint! Watching his wife, Cindy Blackman Santana on the drums had me wondering if perhaps I needed to buy a drum kit and nurture my inner percussionist.

I celebrated Father’s day, which was a brilliant opportunity to honour my dad. I’m also so grateful for a husband who is a brilliant father.

A big highlight of the month was winning the Ffinc Fearless Founder award. It was touching to be recognised for the work I have done with Nubian Skin, and the work I am currently doing to bring inclusivity into the healing process for mastectomy patients.

July is already coming in hot (literally) -- don't miss your chance to stock up on our tights in our summer sale. Once they're gone, they're gone!
